Do you offer email?
Yes, we offer 5 business email accounts using your own domain name. For example, you can have bob@yourdomain.com, fred@yourdomain.com, support@yourdomain.com. We can also forward email addresses, so we can setup info@yourdomain.com to go to any of the other addresses.
Do I need to register my own domain name?
You can register a domain name through a third party company like godaddy.com, or we can do it for you. If you already have a website, we can login to your account (with your permission, of course) and update it to point to our servers.
Who owns the site?
You own the site, and we will keep it active as long as you continue to pay the monthly hosting fee. If you want to cancel the service, we will take the site down for you.
Can I host the site myself?
Hosting with us ensures that your site and software are continuously maintained and protected from any software threats. There is no long-term contract, so you can cancel at anytime without a penalty.
What if I want to move the site at some point?
If you want to move the site, there is a one-time $199 charge to archive and process the site. The site will be compatible with Linux servers, running a MySQL database.
Is the work done overseas or outsourced to India, Russia, China?
All work is done by US designers that have gone through a strict qualification process, which rejects about 60% of the designers that apply to ensure that we provide you with the highest quality designers available at this price point.
Are your sites optimized for search engines? Do you include Search Engine Optimization?
Yes, all the sites we build are technically optimized; however, a lot of your positioning will be based on the content that you provide for the site, as well as the links that come back into your website. One of the reasons we offer a blog on the site is because the search engines love blog content. If you can keep up with your blog, we definitely recommend having one.
Can customers become affiliates?
Yes. It's a great way for you to help recoup the cost of developing your site and make some additional money. In-fact, if a customer wants to be an affiliate, we will link our site credit back to our site using your affiliate link so that you will get credit for anyone that clicks through from your site.
Do you have a portfolio, sample sites, additional samples?

Do you offer any industry-specific sites?
Our service is great for any small business. The platform we build the site on is flexible enough to handle just about any type of company.
Do you offer e-commerce sites?
We can integrate paypal links if you can provide them to us, however, a full-blown e-commerce site (with a shopping cart, where you accept credit cards that go into your own merchant account) would need to be quoted separately. Please contact us for more information.
What programming languages do you use?
We use PHP on Linux servers.
Do you create Mobile sites?
Mobile sites are not included as part of the standard development, however, creating a mobile version can be quoted once your initial site is complete.
Can you do a Flash Intro?
We don't recommend doing separate "intro" screens as it reduces the effectiveness of your site from a usability and SEO perspective. Any flash production can be estimated separately if needed.
How do you compare to other do-it-yourself websites?
The biggest difference is that we are not a do-it-yourself site, we Do It For You. We do the technical setup, the creative, and production of the site and build it on a content management system that allows you to make changes once the site is live.
What content management system do you use?
Our CMS is based on Wordpress, which is easy to use, and widely supported. We handle all updates and patches as part of the monthly maintenance fee to make sure your site is secure.
Do you backup the sites?
Yes, all sites are backed up off-site on a nightly basis. In case of a disaster, we will be able to recover any site and restore it with an image from the previous day.
What does the monthly fee include?
The monthly fee includes five 100MB business class email addresses that can be accessed via POP, IMAP, or Webmail, server management and support, content management software upgrades and patches, database management, 24x7 server monitoring, domain name registration, DNS, and web site traffic reports. You can store up to 500MB of files and transfer up to 1GB of data.
Do I have FTP access to the server?
The standard account setup does not include FTP access, since most content can be uploaded and managed through the content management system. FTP access can be setup by contacting us with a request.
Do you have a control panel for the server?
All content is managed through the Content Management System and we manage the servers for you. If you have a special request, you can contact us.

Ordering

What is the password for?
We will use this information for your login to your Content Management System. Once the site is live, you will be able to login using your email address and this password to make changes to your site.

Domain Name
  • If I don't have a domain name, can you get one for me?

    Yes, enter the domain you would like and we will contact you to finalize the domain name based on domains that are available. Please keep in mind that most short or obvious domains are already taken.

  • I have an existing site, but I don't want you to switch anything until the new site is ready.

    No problem. We will build your new site on a development server that you will have access to. Once you approve the final site, we will coordinate the transfer of the domain with you.

  • Do I need to give you access to our registrar?

    You can if you would like us to manage it directly, otherwise, we will tell you where to point your domain once your site is ready to go live.

What is the overview? What should I put in the overview box?
Please use this area to tell us about your company. Include information on what you do and who your target market is (male, female, doctors, engineers, parents, seniors, etc.).
Websites
Please enter a few websites that you like. This will give us a feel for the style of site you would like designed for you. The sites don't have to be related to your company or industry; we just want to get a feel for what you like.
Design Direction
Please include information on what you would like the site to look like. Do you want a specific color? Specific images? What is the overall feel you would like the site to have - corporate and professional, warm and friendly, fun, etc.
Navigation
Please select the main navigation items you would like on your site. Each of these will correspond to a page that we will build. If you want to have us build multiple product pages, just select the products navigation and then you can add some notes at the end. You will also be able to change the names of these sections later if you like, so if it's not called exactly what you want, you will be able to change it through the content management system.
Preferred Layout
In order to help provide a guideline for our designers, please select a navigation layout. Would you like your main navigation to be on the left, horizontal across the page, or going down the right-hand side of the page? Keep in mind this is only for the primary navigation, blog navigation and other navigation may be located within other sections of the page as necessary.
Other Comments
Please include any other information you would like our designers to know. If you want to include 3 products, let us know what they are here. If you have any other direction or notes, be sure to let us know.
Payment
Initial Payment is processed right away; the monthly fee will begin 30 days from the date of the initial payment, even though your site will go live before that.
What happens after I make the payment?
You will receive an email with a purchase confirmation, designer contact information, and a Word document that contains the various navigation sections above. Just fill in the document and send it to our designer with any images or logos.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee on all of our sites. If you are not happy with the design of the site, or the site is not completed within 3 weeks from the date of your order, we will provide you with a full refund. Once the site goes live, you will no longer be eligible for a refund, however, you can cancel your service at any time.
Do you share my information with anyone? What is your privacy policy?
Your information is only shared with the people who will be working directly on your website. We take your privacy very seriously and we never sell or rent our customer lists to anyone. Our full Privacy Policy is available here.
Security, credit card processing?
Your credit card information is safe. Credit card information is stored in a PCI compliant database and all transactions are secured via SSL.
Where are you located?
Our offices are in Fairfield, New Jersey and you can contact through our contact page. In order to keep costs low, we don't meet with clients in-person, most project communication is done via email.
Do you accept Discover Cards, Diner's Club, other credit cards?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Can I pay via check, money order?
All payments are done via credit card.
